Saturday, June 4th is InterNational Hug Your Cat Day !

Quite simply, it’s a day in which everyone everywhere is encouraged to hug the cats.  Of course, the more dedicated amongst them will not need this encouragement but it is always good to be reminded of all feline friends.

So, whether or not you are the proud housemate of a purring kitty, this is the perfect excuse to put a bit of warmth and companionship into your life.  No matter what’s going on around you, no matter how bad or troubling things get, you can always count on your furry friend to be there for you.

Let it be the perfect opportunity to put your kats on a pedestal and thank them for all those times they have curled up next to you after a long day.  Celebrate this holiday: give your cats a nice big hug, and while you’re at it, give in some gourmand treats, or delicious catnip!

  17. These photos are ridiculously cute! Thanks for sharing fellow cat lover. We have just adopted two black kitties, Nera and Ebony and their brother Ziggy. They are in hiding at the moment and will need time to settle I think. I have a poetry blog here on WordPress and this week’s poems are about cats in case you have time to look?
