To show off a new bright and lively decorative design to that old lampshade I was going to throw in the bottom of my catchall, or to the dusty and completely turned yellow with age grandma’s lamp, or more simply to free rein to my imagination: these were the reasons why I sorted out an unusual hobby, to create lampshades and lamps with the decoupage and the 3D (tridimensional) technique.
From the idea to the development of the different work stages, from the fabrics choice to the shapes for the 3D project, from the colour charts and patterns to the decoupage technique: these are the main characteristics of my lamps and lampshades. Which are not conforming, selected and projected to impress, to be out of the chorus of the usual home decor, to express joy and passion, to be a happy marriage between me and the world around me. In other words, unique and foolish.
