A wonderful day to remember!  And a special thank to Three Chatty Cats for the important news!

Last year Three Chatty Cats helped, promoted and supported “let’s shine a light” on pets waiting for their forever homes in shelters by participating in Remember Me Thursday.  This year the special day to remember shelter pets is September 28th, 2017.

Join the Movement! 

You may be wondering what you can do to help bring awareness to these shelter pets.  Well, you can take part in Remember Me Thursday yourself!  It’s three weeks from today, so Three Chatty Cats is teaming up with the Helen Woodward Animal Center to help spread the word now so that you’ll be ready to go when the special day arrives.

Here’s what you can do now: Tell every animal lover you know about Remember Me Thursday! 

We want everyone to know about Remember Me Thursday before it arrives so the world will be talking about pet adoption on that day.

Here’s what to do on September 28th: Light up social media with posts about Remember Me Thursday! 

Organizers of the event encourage people to “tweet, tag, post and share the beauty and life-saving significance of pet adoption on social media.  Let’s honour the lost pets who ran out of time and bring awareness to the pets we can still help by working together and using our voices.”

Hashtag It Up!

Be sure to use #RememberTheRescue and #RememberMeThursday on the 28th when you share your Remember Me Thursday pictures on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

An added bonus?  If you use both #RememberTheRescue and #RememberMeThursday with your rescue pet photo on social media, you’ll be entered for a chance to win food, funds and toys for your favourite animal rescue or shelter!
