Follow That Dream… !

Dream \ ˈdrēm  \ noun, often attributive and verb.

FollowYourDream

In a broad sense of the term, any mental activity, even fragmentary, that takes place during sleep; in a more restricted and more common sense, the more or less clear and detailed activity which generally occurs in the phases of REM sleep with a more or less coherent narrative structure, mainly characterized  by visual sensations and emotional participation of the sleeper.

Etimology.  Middle English dreem; Old English drēam (joy, mirth, gladness, noise, music), cognate with Old Saxon drōm (mirth, dream); Old Norse draumr (dream), Old High German troum (dream).

Until the 13th century in Old English the word dream meant joy, noise and music. Yet by the end of the 14th century the meaning had been entirely replaced after many conflicts, conquests and settlements by Scandinavian and Norman populations in Britain from the 9th century. As a matter of fact, the Old Norse word draumr (a dream during sleep) influenced the meaning of the etymologically related English word.

A dream is an imaginary series of events that you experience in your mind while you are asleep.  You can refer to a situation as a dream if you often think about it because you would like it to happen.  You can use dream to describe something that you think is ideal or perfect, especially if it is something that you thought you would never be able to have or experience.  If you say that you would not dream of doing something, you are emphasizing that you would never do it because you think it is wrong or is not possible or suitable for you or unpleasant and very strange and unlikely to you.  If you say that something is a dream, you mean that it is wonderful.

On Wednesdays, We Wear An Unexpectedly Pink Life !

WeWearPink10

The terms of colour (also called “cromonimi”) play a key role in the perception and symbolic representation (even emotional) of reality.
In many languages this can be regarded as a reasonably self-contained semantic domain, but in the universe of human discourse the colour is not necessarily a separate aspect of the visual life experience.

Pink is gracious, bright, pretty, fun, youthful, neat, sentimental, vibrant, exciting, sensual, soft, passionate, frivolous, charming; toning down the passion of red with the purity of white, this colour is strictly tied to romance and stimulates energy, represents happiness and joy, encourages action and confidence.

Don’t Hold It Back, It’s Time To Dream Again !

HelloJune2

Fingertips.

In the time it takes to laugh,
love can turn the key.
Crystal clear the future lies
and what will be will be.

Don’t hold it back,
take the chance you missed.
Don’t hold it back,
fill the emptiness.

Soon the time to say farewell,
will come with no return.
Older now but wiser from
lessons we have learned.

HelloJune3

Don’t hold it back,
take the chance you missed.
Don’t hold it back,
fill the emptiness.

Slip through your fingertips,
speak from your heart don’t let it.
Slip through your fingertips,
search for the feeling in it.
Don’t let it –
Slip through your fingertips,
lost if you leave too late.
All at your fingertips,
gone if you hesitate.
